In her new book, Creative Walls (Cico Books, £19.99) she shows how walls can be used to create havens of self-expression, and illustrates how to display virtually anything from scratch. The image shown here is of a narrow hallway with a panel made up of vintage paperback covers to provide a vibrant splash of colour. www.cicobooks.co.uk

Postcards from PenguinIf you are inspired to do the same, there’s an easy way: just buy ‘Postcards from Penguin’, a box set of 100 postcards, each featuring a different and iconic Penguin book jacket. £14.99 from www.penguin.co.uk

We’ve also discovered that Penguin in Australia have reissued 200 orange-covered ‘Popular Penguins’. Not yet available in the UK, but they will be next year… www.popularpenguins.com.au
